Lancaster, Wisconsin

"City of the Dome"

LANCASTER (Population 4,018) is the small town people dream of, a town where everything is within walking distance and one can walk safely day or night.

In Lancaster, parades go around the courthouse square; activities are centered at the schools and churches; the county fair is held every August; the movie theater tries to show as many PG films as possible; the park pond provides kids' fishing in the summer and ice skating in the winter; the library holds story hour.

Housing is varied. There are Victorian homes on tree-lined streets and newer homes in interesting subdivisions. There is an 18-hole golf course, a par-fitness course, tennis courts, volleyball courts, baseball fields, and swimming pool. Grant Regional Health Center operates a fine hospital and the city has many retail shops; every need can be met in town.

Beautifully maintained, wide, low-traffic state highways lead from Lancaster to the big cities: Dubuque, Iowa is one-half hour away; Madison or LaCrosse, one-and-one-half hours; Chicago or Minneapolis, only four hours.

Only a few people in the United States can live and work in a town like Lancaster. We'd like to put you in touch with industrialists already enjoying what Lancaster has to offer. Talk to them about our excellent labor force, skills training and their success in Lancaster. The remaining sites in our Industrial Park could meet your needs, or we stand ready to develop additional sites.
